Vic: Three injured in light plane crash

MELBOURNE, April 3 AAP - Three people were critically injured in a light plane crash
near Shepparton in northern Victoria this afternoon.

The plane crashed near the runway at Shepparton's airport around 12.30pm, police said.

Three people were critically injured, rural ambulance spokesman Paul Bird said.

Paramedics at the crash site were stabilising the injured, before transferring them
to Goulburn Valley Hospital, he told radio 3AW.
