FORUM CONVENES

The Nortel Networks-backed Broadband Content Delivery Forum convened its first meeting at the recent NetWorld+Interop show. The group elected a board of directors and set plans for creating standards and protocols for high-speed Internet content. The board of directors includes chairman David Ginsburg of Nortel Networks, along with members William Biedron of Akamai Technologies Inc., Judy Nunn of the BBC, Nick Rose of British Telecommunications, Norm Ritchie of NetActive Inc., Laurie Shook of Lucent Technologies and Greg Onyszchuk of Williams Communications.
