Qld: Lib MPs meeting at secret venue to discuss leadership

Queensland Liberal MPs are meeting at a secret location in Brisbane for a leadership vote.

Current leader BRUCE FLEGG is being challenged by first-term MP TIM NICHOLLS .. who's
proposed Gold Coast MP JOHN-PAUL LANGBROEK as his deputy.

Dr FLEGG has offered to stand aside today .. to resolve the four-all deadlock in the
eight-member party room.

One of his supporters .. Gold Coast MP RAY STEVENS .. now says he has an open mind
about who'll lead the party.
